1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the KBA Gender-Disaggregated MSME Credit Analysis Dashboard, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you use the platform on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Platform purpose

This platform provides analytics and reporting views on women-led and women-owned MSME financing patterns, based on authorized data inputs and aggregation logic.

It is intended to support evidence-based decision-making by financial institutions, policymakers, regulators, and development partners.

3. Portal access and account responsibilities

Access to specific portals and features is role-based. Users are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for all activity performed through their account.

  • Public portal: open analytics access with no institution-level privileged actions.
  • Bank, Data, and Admin portals: restricted access for authorized users only.
  • Users must not share credentials, bypass controls, or attempt unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the platform only for lawful, authorized, and program-aligned purposes.

  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or interfere with platform security or availability.
  • Do not upload malicious files, falsified submissions, or unauthorized third-party data.
  • Do not use the platform to identify, profile, or target specific individuals from aggregated analytics.

5. Data submissions and declarations

Where you submit data through the Data portal, you represent that your organization is authorized to submit the data and that the submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

KBA may suspend processing or request corrections where data quality, authorization, or security concerns are identified.

6. Intellectual property and content use

The platform design, software, analytics configurations, and published content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use exported outputs for legitimate reporting and policy or institutional analysis, with appropriate attribution where required.

7. Service availability and modifications

We may update features, methodologies, routes, APIs, and content to improve quality, security, and compliance.

Availability is provided on a reasonable efforts basis and may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or incident response.

8. Important disclaimers

Dashboard outputs are analytical aids and are not legal, financial, regulatory, or credit approval advice.

Users remain responsible for their own institutional decisions and any downstream actions taken based on platform outputs.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KBA and its implementation partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for security reasons, misuse, policy breaches, or legal compliance requirements.

Termination does not remove obligations related to confidentiality, lawful use, or prior violations.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes are subject to the competent courts or legally recognized dispute resolution channels in Kenya.
